Aberdeen clinch signing of Moroccan striker

Aberdeen have signed Moroccan striker Ayoub Mouloua from FUS Rabat for an undisclosed fee

The 23-year-old has signed a three-year contract with an option for a fourth after completing his medical at Cormack Park.

Mouloua becomes Stephen Robinson's eighth permanent recruit of the summer transfer window.

"We have been tracking Ayoub for several months now and have made a number of trips to Morocco to watch him play and get a real feel for the type of player and person he is," said Robinson.

"He's a brave, aggressive striker who will give us a real physical presence in attack, but he's much more than that.

"He's mobile, works tirelessly for the team and has shown he knows where the goal is.

"When I got the chance to speak with him, it was clear he was hungry for the opportunity to join Aberdeen and take the next step in his career."

The move is subject to international clearance and visa formalities.

Brighton agree deal to sign Struijk from Leeds

Latest from Your Site News' Zinny Boswell and Elliot Cook:

Brighton have verbally agreed a deal with Leeds to sign centre-back Pascal Struijk.

Leeds sources have told Your Site News the fee is undisclosed, but it is understood to be around 20m.

Struijk played a key role in keeping Leeds up on their return to the Premier League and they did not want to lose him, but the defender was entering the final year of his deal and this was their last chance to cash in on him.

Brighton sold centre-back Jan Paul van Hecke to Spurs for 52m but he is right footed and Struijk is a left-sided defender which suggests he is not a direct replacement.

Brighton are also pursuing a move for Spurs defender Luka Vuskovic and their last offer was worth 45m. They also have an interest in Atalanta defender Honest Ahanor.

Newcastle are preparing to offer Bruno Guimaraes a bumper new contract to keep him at St James' Park amid interest from Arsenal, according to The Sun.

as the Premier League champions look to bolster their midfield.

While there has been no official club-to-club contact, it's thought an informal proposal was rejected via intermediaries.

Newcastles position is that they do not want to sell the 28-year-old, who is under contract until 2028, and will not welcome bids.

Bruno is one of a number of midfielders Arsenal have been looking at with an expectation there will be arrivals and departures in that position this summer.

Newcastle are interested in Borussia Dortmund midfielder Felix Nmecha, with Bruno's midfield partner Sandro Tonali also the subject of interest from elsewhere.
